chainge Recycling Program

With the chainge recycling program, igus has been giving old energy and drag chains a second life since 2019. Companies can send their worn-out chains to igus instead of simply disposing of them with other products in industrial waste. igus also offers the return and recycling of old energy chains as part of installation orders. The highlight: All chains are accepted, even from other manufacturers. In return, customers receive a value voucher based on the weight of the chains. The discarded plastics are separated by type, cleaned and regranulated so that the material can be reused. With the chainge program, igus returns old plastic to a reusable material cycle and thus promotes the circular economy.
