Börsig GmbH looks back on a very positive development in the 2021 financial year (01.10.2020 – 30.09.2021). The sales target for 2021 was exceeded by 15%. Managing Director Stefan Börsig commented: “I am very pleased to see how the company has developed over the past years. This confirms the investments we made in personnel, further training, restructuring and optimization of internal processes.”
Thomas Engler, Sales Director of Börsig GmbH, also expects a good order situation for the coming business year. He mentions the continuing shortage of raw materials and the ongoing effects of Corona as the reason for this. “We recognized at an early time that there would be supply difficulties and have considerably expanded our storage capacity in order to be able to purchase and stock as much goods as possible. This ensures delivery reliability for our customers, which is gratefully appreciated by them,” said Mr. Engler. “At the same time, warehouse stocking is not everything. This success would not have been possible without the entire team in logistics and all other departments, who did an outstanding job and also did everything possible in the home office to help our customers. We would like to thank all our colleagues for their efforts in this turbulent year,” continues Mr. Engler.
Börsig is a specialist distributor for electromechanics and cooperates with more than 20 premium manufacturers in this segment. Various internal sales teams – at headquarters in Neckarsulm as well as in the sales offices in Soest (North Rhine-Westphalia), Freiberg (Saxony) and the subsidiaries in Vienna (Austria), Brno (Czech Republic) and Lódz (Poland) – as well as a network of field employees provide personal customer service with high technical know-how. The central warehouse at headquarters realizes sales outside packaging units with a wide range of shipping service providers and options.
